Things Im thankful for this Thanksgiving

1. I have a very healthy little guy who is my world
2.I have a wonderful Man in my life who loves me on days i really don't deserve it. And works very hard so I can stay home with our little guy
3. Health(even though its not great im still alive and have it better than some)
4. The greatest friends ever!
5. A wonderful family (especialy my new family I gained this year)

Those are just a few I could go on and on !

Where has the last 8 mos went?

Can you believe it Grayson will be 8 mos old Sunday ....... It seems like yesterday I was in the hospital having him. My little guy is not so little anymore and it makes me sad but happy at the same time. He's crawling(like a crab),Pulling up,holding his own bottle and cup and he wants to walk so bad its not even funny! But I'm going to take my friend Kelli's advice and push him down LOL . Andy and I got our 1st Christmas tree this week but he want let me decorate it till after Turkey day =( . But its OK gives us more to look forward to. I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping...... Yayyy me but I'm still going to fight the crowds and go on black Friday with my friend Abby just because what girl doesn't love to shop !

So far behind

OK so I'm really behind on my blogging. Grayson is 5 mos old now hes such a good little boy he now weights 20 lbs and is 29 1/2 inches long. He still is not sleeping threw the night he normally gets up at least once sometime twice. Hes teething like crazy he almost has one tooth threw the gum and its driving him crazy because he wants to crawl so bad and cant figure it out. He loves Applesauce and baby cereal that's his favorite so far. We had to change his formula again and also put him on previcd his reflux was just not getting any better. He didn't do so well with his 5 mo shots thank goodness i took Nana Patti with me the res no way i could have held him down. He ran a fever for a few days after that was just was vegged out and really didn't want to do anything. We took Grayson to his 1st camp meeting at the balls creek campground.Everyone was glad to see him and some got to meet him for the 1st time. He also got to hear the Cockman Family sing. He loves music .Grayson will start MMO on Sept 1st i think he will do great he loves being around new people. I'm also going back to work Part time and I'm looking forward to it. Right now Graysons Nana and Papa are gone overseas to do some mission work at the Episcopal clinic so we are house sitting so far we are bored out of minds but having fun also. Grayson loves it here.This weekend we will be busy I'm taking Grayson to his 1st auto fair for awhile in Concord on Saturday for awhile . We also have the race coming up at Zmax and im planning on taking Grayson to his 1st drag race ! His popop(my dad) says hes ready along with his uncle T . SO we will be cheering on the MEM pro stock team and making memories with my dad we will never forget!

June 1st 2010

Grayson is doing great its hard to belive he is 2 mos old time has flown by. We went for his 2 mo check up last week and hes alittle chunky monkey he weights 15 lbs and 4 ozs and is 25 inches long. He did well with his shots hes a brave little boy. The only problem ive had since he has came home from his hospital stay is that hes spoiled from being held the entire time we where there and when i say the enitire time i mean it... someone was always holding him. But slowly but surely we are getting things back to normal.



A few weeks ago i decided that I needed to hire a babysitter for a few days a week and after alot of searching i found a lady out in viewmont who keeps children in her home and she also keeps my good friend Kelli's children and so today was the big day for Grayson his 1st day at Mrs Marys he did great he only stays half a day but i think its going to be good for the both of us. I didnt cry like i thought i would.

Its been tooo long since i updated

Well since I last post when Grayson was in the hospital,all his blood work came back normal and we where released on that Sunday . He is doing great.

Roller coast ride

Hey guys what a roller coaster ride the last 24 hours have been. Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on Grayson and what has went on.

On Thursday morning around 4am him woke up and i went to pick him up and feed him and he was drenched in sweat so i took his temp and it was 104 so i gave him a dose of Tylenol and then i kept checking it every 15 mins or so and it wasn't going down so i called the on call RN big mistake but i want go there... So i took him over to Dr millsaps office at 9am and his fever was still 101.7 so they gave another dose of Tylenol and sent us straight over to Cvmc for direct admit. As soon as i walked in they took him and started running all kinds of test they where worried it may be Spinal meningitis but that test came back negative Praise be to our Awesome and mighty GOD. We are still waiting of the blood cultures and things to come back but Dr Berry seems to think he may have just had a virus . This morning his fever is still down and he is rest well I will try and keep everyone up to date via Face book and twitter!
Thanks again for all the prayers please counitue to pray for my little guy!

Lake fun !

Grayson and I have had a great day. Went to lunch with his Daddy and our friend Christine. After lunch and going to the court house to try and get things with his name fixed , we headed to the lake for a evening of fun Little Guy loved the water and he was super cute in his little swiming trunks!

Well where to start .......Its just been one of those days.............

Grayson had a ruff night he decided he didn't want to sleep last night between 4 and 7 then he slept today until 10am ! So the whole day was off track! So while little guy was sleeping I got some thank notes done from the baby shower and took a shower . When little guy got up he got his bath and we got ready for our day ! Andy had called and his dog and ran away this morning so Grayson and i went down there to look for him and to my surprise i drove up and he was laying in the car port! Thank god! SO we headed to Newton so i could vote well Guess what duhh huhh me forgot to change my voting place after i moved from Viewmont So Grayson and I met Andy for lunch and of course Black cloud me they got a call but we still had a great time! So after that we headed to viewmont I dropped Grayson off at Nana and Papa Byerlys so i could go vote ! I knew they would be busy and Grayson was pretty fussy so Am glad i did! They had a great time with him!
After I picked little guy up we headed home. I had so much to get done since we will be in Charlotte tomorrow all day. My Moms Friend Sue came by to drop off a shower gift since she wasn't able to come Sunday and she stayed for awhile ! Little guy watched DVDs while i did laundry and cleaned his room. It finally looks like a nursery and not a junk whole!
This week is flying by I'm ready for the weekend and My 1st Mothers day!!!

May is here !

Wow what a busy busy weekend !Friday evening we went to Nana and papa Byerlys and went to the snack bar for dinner and just chilled out. Saturday Grayson and I went to his Dads and had dinner and just hung out. Grayson had a great time and it was also his 1st time sitting out on the dock and he loved it ! Sunday My friend Abby had Grayson and I a Baby shower at Glenn Hilton park we had such a good time with family and friends! It was sooo hot but we all managed to stay well hydrated. Later in the Evening we met up with His Nana and Papa Byerly As well as his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bill and Cuz Brett at tripps we had a very nice dinner together. It was a great weekend with Friends and family

Times a flyin

Well I thought i would start a blog just so everyone would know whats going on with Grayson from week to week so here it goes.......

Grayson turned 5 weeks old today times flying by....We had a great weekend, Today we went over to his Nanny and Papa Byerlys for a cookout. Pattis (Nanny) grandson is heading off to Fort Jackson and they had a cookout for him we had a great time got to meet Pattis Kids and grandkids. Graysons Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bill where there as well (love them) . Papa Byerly just held Grayson and spoiled him abit tooo ... Then when we left there I took Grayson by Newton EMS base to see his Daddy ,then we headed home I was pooped !

Grayson has been sleeping better the last few nights (knock on wood) Last week he had colic really bad . My friend Kelli told me about gripe water Aka Bitch was as John whitener named it... Its mircle water... it did wonders for my little guy.

Tuesday I go for my Postnatal appt. kinda nervous for some reason . Im sure i will be fine...
